Jadetru is operated by Geetha Murali, an individual based in Bangalore, India.
1. What we collect
- Account data: name or username, email address, hashed password, role.
- Card data: images you submit for grading, grade results, ownership and transfer history.
- Marketplace data: listings, purchases, shipping addresses and tracking numbers.
- Payment data: payment status, amounts and transaction references. We do not store card numbers, CVV or bank account details; these are handled by Razorpay and Stripe.
- Usage data: basic app usage and error logs used for reliability and abuse prevention.
2. How we use it
To operate the Service: grade cards, run the marketplace and wallet, process payments and refunds, send transactional emails and notifications, prevent fraud, and improve the grading pipeline.
3. Payment processors
Payments are processed by Razorpay and Stripe, which receive the payment details you enter directly. They act under their own privacy policies. We receive only the outcome and reference of each payment.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the Service (for example cloud hosting, payment processing, shipping couriers for your orders and error monitoring), and when required by law.
5. Retention
We keep account and transaction records for as long as needed to run the Service and to meet legal and tax record-keeping duties. Card images are kept for grading history and dispute resolution.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Write to support@jadetru.com. We respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
7. Security
We use encrypted transport and hashed passwords, among other measures. No system is completely secure.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Where data is stored
Our servers and databases are hosted in the United States, so your data is processed outside India.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new date above. Material changes will be notified in the app.
